FLIPGRID: A platform for video discussions

I'm back with Flipgrid which is a little bit similar to Voki.

Flipgrid is a tool that allows teachers to create video discussion forums and it's a really useful tool you can reach from your computer, mobile phone, or tablet.

To start using Flipgrid, the first thing you should do is to go and sign up with your educator accounts. Once you sign up, all you can do is starting the tool directly. You can begin with creating a grid which is basically a classroom where you can give assignments for your lesson. After you are done with the settings such as grid type and flip code for your grid, you can create topics that are the starting point of video discussions. By creating topics, you give the assignment title or discussion content, recording time, and instructions for your students to respond with their videos that they record at that moment or they recorded beforehand. At this point, one attractive feature of the tool is that students don't have to show their faces and they have several options such as putting stickers on their faces, pixeling their videos, or making other settings. Another good feature of this tool is that students can give responses both to your topic and to the videos of their classmates either by written or recorded feedback. And this is one great benefit of Flipgrid in terms of providing interaction in a meaningful way that is basic for language classrooms. Yet, Flipgrid is not limited only to these. You have many other opportunities to go on with. For example, you can select any of those plentiful contents that were created beforehand, and use them by adding to your grid with/without editing thanks to the disco library section in Flipgrid.

When I'm close to the ending of this blog post, I want to leave a tutorial video that I found very helpful.
By the way, don't forget to check and support my topic with your responses!!
