Hi again! This time I'm here to introduce an add-on instead of an application and it is PearDeck.
PearDeck is a very simple add-on that you can easily implement on Google Slides when you need to use presentations in your lessons. It works synchronously with Google Slides and provides you and your students with more interactive lessons. It offers multiple-choice, true-false, thumbs-up/down questions, text responses, numerical responses, draggable responses, drawing slides, and many more. It also enables teachers to view the responses of students to those questions immediately while letting students participate in lessons interactively.
In order to use the tool, you should first add it to Google Slides. Then, you can choose among numerous pre-made templates or even use them after arranging them according to your own taste and needs. When you continue your lessons with presentations that are perfected by PearDeck, you just need to share the given code with your students to enter "joinpd.com". And then, it's all up to the flow! Yet, another important thing that you should know about this tool is that you can choose either student-paced activity or instructor-paced activity. If you plan to use the presentations during the lesson, you can go on with the instructor-paced activity and change the slides by yourself. However, you can choose to use student-paced activity if you want to give the presentations to your students for study. So that, they can study at their own pace.
